History: The beginning of The Himal- Asian Mission is related to when the pioneers went to Asia and Tibet around 1938. At that time Edin C.Alfsen (The picture) and David Wesborg went into eastern Tibet. Many groups and friends of the missionaries supported them with prayer and economical resources. Who are we? We are an organization with a mission from God to share the testimony about Jesus with the people in the Himalayan region. We are workers that carry with us the mission about Jesus through our work, what we say and what we do in our daily life. We have a small administration that is doing its best to follow up our workers abroad, and to coordinate voluntary workers in the different congregations and districts in Norway.
Our values We believe in the power of prayer. God has called us to be his workers; only he knows what is the truth. We believe that God hears our payers when we ask for his will. We believe that God is an acting God, because of that we are concrete in our prayer topics and requests.
